As we approach the end of another academic year, Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation reminds students and their families that there are a number of scholarship opportunities available. The deadline to apply for all scholarships is April 1. As this falls during many schools' Spring breaks, it is recommended to complete applications by March 22 to ensure they are received in time.
The many generous donors who have established and contributed to Scholarship Funds at NCCF understand that the impact of education resonates far beyond the individual, strengthening the future of our community. With a commitment to supporting education, NCCF is home to a wide array of scholarships covering a variety of areas of study at traditional colleges and universities and trade schools. There are scholarships available to students in every school in northern Chautauqua, as well as scholarships for adult students who may be returning to school or furthering their education. As students reflect on their academic journey, these opportunities serve as valuable resources to help ease the financial burden of continued education.
Students who are interested in exploring scholarship opportunities are encouraged to visit www.nccfoundation.org /scholarships or to consult their Guidance or Counseling Departments. Please contact Scholarship Coordinator Michele Starwalt-Woods at scholarships@nccfoundation.org or 716-366-4892 with questions.
