Top Brocton students named for February
BROCTON — Brocton Central Schools has named its students of the month for February.
Kolton Seelbinder was selected by the Brocton Middle School faculty and staff.
He is currently a seventh-grader at Brocton and is the grandson of Debbie Peterson of Fredonia.
He is a percussionist in the Brocton Middle School Band. He is also a member of Chorus.
His accolades include being named to the Honor Roll every quarter of his middle school career.
In his free time, he enjoys playing video games, shopping and spending time with his grandma.
His favorite subjects are social studies because it is fun and interesting and English, because he desires to improve. He also enjoys swimming, building and designing cool things.
In the future, Kolton would like to be a marine engineer because he enjoys the water. He would like to focus his efforts locally on Lake Erie, helping to control the flow of water and damage to fishing vessels. He also would like to work to clear the sand and beaches of dangerous debris.
Ethan Zegarra was selected by the Brocton High School faculty and staff.
He is a senior from Brocton and is the son of Chrissy Jesionowski and Gian Zegarra. Zegarra is a member of the Running Club and the Varsity Bowling team.
Outside of school, Ethan enjoys playing video games, spending time with family and bowling. His favorite subjects are history and art.
