Masterful storyteller Perry Ground, a Turtle Clan member of the Onondaga Nation, returned to Gowanda Elementary School to delight students with traditional Native American stories. Students in Kindergarten through second grade gathered in the gymnasium in June for an hour of immersive, participatory storytelling. Ground involved numerous students in his presentation, giving an overview of Native American history and the creation story.
