CASSADAGA — This year Cassadaga Valley’s FFA chapter is experiencing a change in advisor and officers.
The Chapter’s new advisor, Lindsey Crisanti Meeder is excited to start a new era of Cassadaga FFA. FFA is a national youth organization that prepares members for premier leadership, personal growth and premier success through agricultural education.
The 2024-25 Chapter Officers are: President Catie Russell, Vice President Keyamari Keys, Treasurer Denza Fanara, Reporter Taylor Lahnen, Secretary Makenzie Lahnen, Historian Anastazia Hale, and Sentinel Emma Nickerson.
Cassadaga is one of four chapters left in Chautauqua County. This year the chapter plans on participating and competing in various events throughout the year, including ag mechanics contests, judging contests, the Alfred State Veterinary, Agriculture, Stem and Trade (VAST) Career Discovery Event and our annual Turkey In a Can Day on our school campus. FFA develops members’ potential and helps them discover their unique talents through hands-on opportunities, with the end goal giving members resources to achieve real world success. This year’s members are relatively fresh new members and their goal is to build their chapter from the ground up.
