Brocton lists top students for month
BROCTON — Students of the month have been named for January at Brocton Central Schools.
The faculty and staff at Brocton Middle School are proud to announce that Emma Morrison has been selected. Emma is currently a seventh-grader and resides in Brocton with her parents, Jeremy and Kristin Morrison.
She participates in soccer and dance, year-round. She is a member of Chorus and a two-year veteran of the school musical.
Her academic achievements are impressive, as she has consistently earned spots on both the High Honor Roll and Honor Roll throughout her entire academic journey.
When she’s not busy with her studies or activities, Emma loves to lend a helping hand to others and enjoys playing with her cousins. She treasures time spent with family and friends, grateful for their unwavering support in all her endeavors.
Emma’s favorite subject is science.
The faculty and staff at Brocton High School are thrilled to announce Lauralie Battaglia.
Lauralie is the daughter of Felicia and Joshua Braymiller of Brocton. Her dedication and passion for excellence shine brightly, both academically and athletically. She actively participates in both the Volleyball and Softball teams, showcasing her competitive spirit and teamwork.
She has consistently demonstrated her commitment to academic excellence, earning a spot on the High Honor Roll for an impressive four years. In addition to her academic accomplishments, she takes on leadership roles as the President of the National Junior Honor Society and the President of the Class of 2027.
Lauralie’s favorite subject is Earth Science. Outside the classroom, she enjoys staying active through exercising and playing her favorite sports, softball and volleyball.
