At a recent meeting of Cherry Creek Lodge 384, Free & Accepted Masons, Jerry Park was presented his 60-year apron and certificate. Park served as Lodge Master in 1973-74, and again in 1988-89. He also served as the Chautauqua District Assistant Grand Lecturer from 1976-77, and Grand Lodge of New York Grand Steward from 1977-78. He has also served as Lodge Treasurer since 1991. In addition to still being one of the most active Masons in the District, at 83 years young, he is also active in the community, having served as a member and treasurer of the local fire department for 60 years as well. Park also served as a Chautauqua County Legislator, representing District 5 for four terms in the 1990s to early 2000s.
