Brocton announces Students of the Month

Raelynn Mosier

BROCTON – The faculty and staff at Brocton Middle School are happy to announce that Raelynn Mosier has been selected as the Middle School Student of the Month for June 2025.

Raelynn is a 7th grader from Portland and the daughter of Angie and Kenneth Mosier. Raelynn shines both inside and outside the classroom. She is actively involved in soccer and the Drama Club, showcasing her teamwork and creativity. Musically talented, Raelynn plays the oboe in the band and sings as a soprano in the chorus.

Her commitment to academics is impressive, earning her high honor roll status all year. Recently, she participated in all-county music events and contributed her time to help with the solo festival held at Brocton.

Raelynn’s favorite subject is science. Outside of school, she cares deeply for her many pets and has a strong passion for animals. Looking ahead, Raelynn aspires to become a lawyer.

The faculty and staff at Brocton High School are happy to announce Cadance Andrews as Student of the month for June. A senior from Brocton, Cadance is the daughter of Lindsay and David Andrews. Throughout her high school career, she has demonstrated outstanding dedication to her studies, earning a spot on the Honor Roll.

Cadance’s favorite subject is Anatomy, reflecting her deep interest in the human body and sciences. This passion has inspired her future plans to become a physical therapist. To prepare for this career path, she will be attending SUNY Fredonia to study Exercise Science, where she will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to help others improve their health and mobility.

Outside of school, Cadance leads a vibrant and active life. She enjoys working out, playing video games, cooking, going for hikes, and exploring fashion. These interests enrich her life and contribute to her well-rounded character.
