Sorority celebrates Founder’s Day in May

Members of the Brocton Preceptor Beta Epsilon chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met on May 6 at the White Inn to celebrate Founder’s Day. They welcomed three guests, members at large Dana Haskin, Roxanne Fisk and Nancy Munson.

The Founder’s Day message from International was read. Next year’s theme will be “Angels of Friendship”.

It was announced that this year’s Girl of the Year is Margie Boltz, who was presented with a Girl of the Year pin and a yellow rose.

Nancy Munson has earned her Master Degree and Judy Travis has earned her Torchbearer degree. Both ladies were presented with pins and yellow roses along with many hugs and Beta Sigma Phi handshakes.

Plans were discussed for a bingo party at the Star Apartments in Brocton and for the chapter’s upcoming birthday picnic which will be the last meeting of the current sorority year.

As always, Preceptor Beta Epsilon would like to thank everyone who made their annual Towel Bingo fundraiser a success.
