The Dunkirk Veterans of World War II Club recently awarded its new annual $1,000 scholarship to Riley Grey Smith Mallon of Dunkirk. Both of Riley’s great-grandfathers served during World War II. One in the Army and the other in the Navy. Riley will be attending the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) this fall and will be studying mechanical engineering in the Accelerated Bachelor’s/Master’s program.
