Mr. and Mrs. Jake Richards

Kathryn Ann Bartkowiak and Jake Orion Richards exchanged wedding vows and rings on Oct. 15, 2016, at Kings Chapel in Arrington, Tennessee. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Robert Wilson of Oklahoma. The pianist was Lucy Hurley of Fredonia.

The bride is the daughter of Rich and Ann Bartkowiak of Fredonia. The groom is the son of Scott Richards of Ardmore, Oklahoma and the late Melanie Richards of Ardmore.

The bride was escorted by her father. She carried a garden loose bouquet of burgundy/red dahlias, peach/white dahlias cafe, with corazon roses, chocolate cosmos, ribbon bound with hanging red and light grey ribbon.

The bride wore a stunning strapless white Galina Signature tulle trumpet gown with beading and a two-tier fingertip veil. The maid of honor and bridesmaids each wore a red sleeveless gown with ruffled back detail.

The maid of honor was Maggie Boehme, roommate of the bride. The bridesmaids were Keri Ketcham and Rebecca Lawrence, friends of the bride, Brittany Bartkowiak and Bethany Bartkowiak, sisters-in-law of the bride, and Larissa Holquin, friend of the groom.

The best man was Scott Richards, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Quintin Magruder, Zak Sharpe and Eric Holquin, friends of the groom, Rich Bartkowiak and Dan Bartkowiak, brothers of the bride.

The flower girl was Emersyn Colbert, niece of the groom. The ring bearers were William, Owen and Blake Bartkowiak, nephews of the bride.

A formal reception was held at the Kings Chapel’s Country Club with a sit down dinner served to their guests.  Caricature Artist, Matthew Cox of Nashville entertained guests with personally drawn portraits given to each as a keepsake. The wedding cake had four tiers with cascading fresh flowers from top to bottom. Music was provided by DJ Travis Olmstead. The newlyweds departed under an arc of guest-held sparklers. Out-of-town guests attended from New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Nevada and California.

The couple honeymooned on a seven-day Western Caribbean cruise to Cozumel, Belize and Mahogany Bay. They currently reside in Franklin, Tennessee.
