Gianni and Kristine (Beatty) Martinez

Kristine Elizabeth Beatty and Gianni Alfredo Martinez were married on Friday, March 20, 2020 in a small wedding ceremony at the Davidson, NC, home of her mother and stepfather, Janie and Mark Hurley.

Escorted by her father, Edward H. Beatty, the bride wore an Enchanting sleeveless and tulle fit and flare wedding gown by Mon Cheri and a bead-trimmed veil “borrowed” to her by her sister, Kayla J. Eyer. Tending to the bride and groom were Matron of Honor, Kayla J. Eyer, and Best Man, Alex Aguilar.

Also, in attendance were Lukas Eyer and Uriah Devor serving as ring bearer and flower boy, bridesmaid Isabel Ramirez and groomsmen Gregory Eyer, Jason Chaves and Andres Melo. Carlos Renza officiated the outdoor Christian ceremony.

A duet, Estoy Enamorada, was sung by friends of bride and groom, Isabel Ramirez and Jason Chaves during the unity sand ceremony. Scripture readings were read by Sally and Albert Bueno, aunt and uncle of the bride and Terre and Ron Kaiser, close family friends of the groom.

Other family members in attendance were Annalisa Agnelli Martinez, mother of the groom, Mary Beatty, stepmother of the bride, Hal & Mary Jo Rusch, aunt and uncle of the bride, and Preston Beatty, uncle of the bride. An intimate reception was held following the ceremony.

Kristine is a Dunkirk native. She graduated from Dunkirk High School in 2011, graduated Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh in 2015 and moved to North Carolina in 2017. Her mother, Janie, is a Dunkirk native who moved to North Carolina in 2013. Her father, Ed Beatty and wife Mary (Larson) Beatty are residents of Dunkirk. Grandparents (all deceased) are Harold and Olive Rusch and Ed and Mary Lou Beatty – all of Dunkirk.

A one-year anniversary, renewal of vows, is planned for March 20, 2021 in the Davidson, NC area. The bride and groom are currently residing in Mooresville, NC. The groom is employed as a Civil Engineer at Geopier Foundations in Davidson, NC, and the bride is a student at Pinnacle Institute of Cosmetology and is employed by CapTel Outreach and Carepoint.
