Zachary and Julie Sanders

Julie Arnold and Zachary Sanders were united in marriage on August 20, 2022, at 2 p.m., in a Catholic Mass and double-ring ceremony, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Dunkirk.

The wedding was officiated by the Rev. Daniel Walsh. The bride is the daughter of John and Carol Arnold of Fredonia. The groom is the son of Lee and Teresa Sanders of Forestville.

The bride was escorted by her father. She wore an elegant ivory/nude trumpet silhouette gown of lace and English net, and a floral pattern bloomed across the illusion neckline and overlay of the fit and flare gown. She wore a fingertip-length veil with a pearl and beaded edge. She carried a bouquet of various shades of purple cosmos, petunias, dahlias, and garden roses.

Her Maid of Honor was her cousin, Tess Schober of Fredonia. Bridesmaids were Kristen Siracuse of Sheridan; Vanessa Gillette of Tustin, Calif.; Rhiannon Overmire of Ladera Ranch, Calif.; Mikki Arnold of Lakewood; and Mary Kate Stevens of Williamsville.

The Best Man was the Groom’s cousin, Sean Murphy of Florida. Groomsmen were Nathan Aldrich of Hamburg; Mark Arnold of Lakewood; Matthew Ludwig of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; Stewart Whitver of Cassadaga; and Nick Lord of Forestville.

The Ring Bearer was Finn Muck of Forestville. The Flower Girls were Mary Siracuse, Grace Siracuse, and Victoria Siracuse of Sheridan.

A rustic-themed reception followed at Quincy Cellars in Ripley.

The bride is a 2010 graduate of Fredonia High School and a 2014 graduate of The College at Brockport. She earned her Master of Science degrees in Physical Education and School Administration from Canisius College, and is employed as an Assistant Principal/Athletic Director at Williamsville North High School.

The groom is a 2011 graduate of Forestville High School. He is employed as a journeyman lineman for Local 1249.
