Mr. and Mrs. Jose Medina

Ashley Dimmer and Jose Medina were united in marriage on June 17, 2023, in a Catholic Mass and ceremony at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Dunkirk. The wedding was officiated by Father Robert J. Owczarczak. The bride is the daughter of Paul and Mirna Dimmer of Maryland. The groom is the son of Rose and Jose Medina, also of Maryland. The couple chose to be married in Dunkirk, where the bride’s parents were born and raised and at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton where her parents were married 40 years ago. A reception was held at the Shorewood Country Club in Dunkirk.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Edgewood High School in Maryland, a 2011 graduate of Towson University, and received her Master of Science in Education in 2016. She is employed by the Federal Government, supporting the U.S. Army.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Aberdeen High School in Maryland and a 2012 graduate of the University of Maryland. He is employed by Red Drum, supporting the Air Force Research Laboratory.

The couple resides in Edgewood, Md. They will travel to Australia and New Zealand for their honeymoon.
