Fredonia Police

¯ Brittany Carvalho, 24, of Fredonia was charged Saturday for criminal contempt.

¯ Daniel Strong, 27, of Dunkirk, was charged Saturday with second-degree harassment.

¯ Michael Hill, 26, of Cattaraugus, was charged Saturday with second-degree criminal trespass.

Dunkirk Police

¯ Bryan Rojano-Laboy, 19, of Dunkirk was charged Tuesday with unlawful fireworks possession and unlawful possession of marijuana.

¯ Jose Perez Veazquez, 27, of Dunkirk was charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of marijuana, criminal possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

¯ Naequan McCray, 25, of Dunkirk, was taken into custody on Saturday around 5 a.m. for driving while intoxicated, was issued three traffic tickets and charged with property damaged by vehicle when his vehicle reportedly went off the roadway striking and knocking down a tree at the island at Main and Sixth streets in Dunkirk. McCray was reportedly traveling northbound on Main Street when he ran the stop sign at Sixth Street and crashed into the tree.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office

On June 30 at about 8:30 p.m., Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on Cottage road in South Dayton. While conducting the stop, a passenger in the vehicle, Jessica DeGroot, 23, of Forestville was taken into custody for a warrant out of Olean City Court. While being transported to Olean Police Department, DeGroot had a medical emergency and was transported Olean General Hospital. While at the hospital, DeGroot was turned over to the Olean Police department. DeGroot is to appear in Olean City Court on a later date.
