Fredonia Police Department

¯ Jacen Weinkertz, 23, of Brocton was charged Feb. 7 with criminal obstruction of breathing, two counts of fourth degree criminal mischief and harassment.

¯ David Smith, 20, homeless, was charged Feb. 8 with attempted grand larceny and criminal mischief.

¯ Dylan Howard, 23, no address given, was picked up Feb. 9 on an arrest warrant for third degree criminal trespassing.

¯ Alyssa Gullo, 23, of Fredonia was charged Feb. 16 with an open container violation.

Westfield Police

¯ On Feb. 17 at roughly 4:16 p.m., Westfield Police were sent to an East Main Street business parking lot for a report of a person sleeping in a vehicle at the gas pumps for an extended amount of time. During the investigation, it was allegedly determined that Avishai S. Afek, 25, of Buffalo, was in possession of marijuana. Afek was issued an appearance ticket for unlawful possession of marijuana.

¯ On Feb. 18 at around 10:41 p.m., patrol conducted a traffic stop on East Main Street for an alleged traffic violation. It was determined that the driver, Tayler J. Woodward, 28, of Westfield, had his state driving privileges suspended for failure to appear on two previous traffic violations. While speaking to Woodward, patrol reportedly smelled marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Woodward cooperated and surrendered an unspecified amount of marijuana to patrol. Woodward was issued tickets for no distinctive plate/insecure/dirty, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unlawful possession of marijuana.
