≤ JAMESTOWN — On May 7, a vehicle drove through a road check on Route 60. While speaking to the occupants, troopers allegedly smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle and its occupants revealed that passenger Gary Linger, 37, of Sinclairville, was in possession of a bag containing approximately five grams of marijuana and a pipe containing marijuana residue. Linger was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, issued an appearance ticket and the driver was subsequently issued a ticket for driving without a license. Linger is scheduled to appear in town of Kiantone Court at a later date.

≤ JAMESTOWN — On May 9, troopers pulled over a vehicle on Route 60 for speeding. While speaking to James Williamson, 20, of Lockport, troopers allegedly smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle and its occupants revealed that Williamson and Moziah Desparo-Townsend, 23, of Lockport, were in possession of two bags of marijuana each. Williamson and Desparo-Townsend were both charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Williamson and Desparo-Townsend were issued tickets and are scheduled to appear in town of Ellicott Court later in the month.
