¯ IRVING — Deputies responded to Routes 5 & 20 for a disorderly subject walking in traffic July 14. Investigation found that Landon H. Lashomb, 34, of Irving, was allegedly impeding and disrupting the flow of traffic on Routes 5 & 20. While placing Lashomb under arrest, he reportedly become physically resistant. Lashomb was taken into custody and charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Lashomb was transported to Chautauqua County Jail and is to be arraigned in the centralized arraignment program.

¯ SILVER CREEK — On July 15 at about 11:32 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Howard Street for an observed infraction. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Tiana L. Ruiz, 19, of Dunkirk. Ruiz was allegedly interviewed and investigation led to her arrest. Ruiz was charged with DWAI drug-special and moved from lane unsafely. Ruiz was transported to the Hanover substation for processing, then taken to Lake Shore Hospital for a blood draw. Ruiz was issued appearance tickets, released and is scheduled to appear in Silver Creek Village Court at a later date.

¯ CHAUTAUQUA — On July 13 at roughly 12:45 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 430 for speeding. The operator was identified as Venilda T. Barringer, 36, of Dewittville. Investigation allegedly found Barringer to be intoxicated and she was taken into custody. Barringer was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI and speed in zone. After processing, Barringer was released with traffic tickets and will appear in Town of Chautauqua Court at a later date.

¯ NORTH HARMONY — On July 14 at about 12:47 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Magnolia Stedman Road for failing to signal a turn. The operator was identified as Michael R. Keyser, 37, of Buffalo. Investigation found Keyser to be intoxicated, and as deputies attempted to place him in custody, Keyser allegedly became physically resistant. After a brief struggle, Keyser was taken into custody and transported to Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office for processing. While there, Keyser intentionally damaged a wall and refused a breath test. Keyser was charged with charged with DWI, resisting arrest, criminal mischief, failure to signal a turn and refusal of preliminary breath test. Keyser was held at Chautauqua County Jail, pending arraignment.

¯ SILVER CREEK — On July 14 at around 6:02 p.m., deputies were called to Jackson Street to check the well-being of a female subject and a small child. Investigation found that Christine L. Gard, 39, of Silver Creek, was allegedly visibly intoxicated and unable to care for the small child in question. Gard was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Gard is scheduled to appear in Village of Silver Creek Court at a later date. The child was later released to other family members.
