HANOVER — On August 4 at roughly 8:12 p.m., deputies responded to an address along Lake Erie on Iola Drive for a reported disorderly person. Upon an investigation, deputies found that Nicholas D. Kozlowski, 28, of Dunkirk, was allegedly found operating a jet ski while intoxicated. Kozlowski was arrested and charged with boating while intoxicated and boating while intoxicated per se. Kozlowski was processed and released to appear in Town of Hanover Court at a later date.

BEMUS POINT — On August 5, troopers pulled over a vehicle for driving erratically on Belleview Road. After allegedly failing several sobriety tests, Taren Grover, 22, of Jamestown, was placed under arrest. Grover was charged with DWI and transported to State Police Jamestown, where she provided a breath sample of .15. Grover was then processed, issued tickets and released. Grover is scheduled to appear in town of Ellery Court later in the month.

ELLERY — On August 6, troopers pulled over a vehicle on I-86 for a traffic violation. While speaking to the driver, Katie Caldwell, 27, of Jamestown, troopers allegedly smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of Caldwell and the vehicle revealed a marijuana cigarette. Caldwell was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, issued an appearance ticket and a traffic ticket and is scheduled to appear in town of Ellery Court later in the month.

BEMUS POINT — On August 6, troopers responded to Belleview Road for a report of a female subject riding a lawn mower all over the road in an intoxicated condition. Upon arrival, troopers identified the female subject as Sally Lawson, 62, of Bemus Point, and placed her under arrest after she allegedly failed several sobriety tests. Lawson was charged with DWI, processed at State Police Jamestown and transported to Chautauqua County Jail, pending arraignment.
