Gowanda Police Department

≤ A Gowanda man has been taken into custody on an arrest warrant.

On Nov. 18, Timothy E. Reese, 27, was picked up. Reese had been previously arrested by the Gowanda Police for a larceny charge.

When Reese failed to appear for a subsequent court appearance, a warrant for his arrest was issued by the town of Collins Court.

Reese was arraigned in the town of Collins Court and he was released without bail. He will be back in town of Collins court at a later date.

≤ A Forestville man has been arrested on a traffic stop.

Scott C. Webster, 39, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unlawful possession of marijuana on Nov. 18.

Webster was allegedly stopped for operating a vehicle on a licence plate violation. During this stop, a DMV computer check revealed that Webster’s license was suspended on Dec. 26, 2018 for his failure to answer a traffic summons in the town of Cheektowaga Court, and again suspended on May 23 for his failure to answer a traffic summons in the town of Hamburg Court.

Webster’s license was also revoked on Oct. 29, 2018, for a traffic infraction occurring during a conditional or restricted license program. Also during this traffic stop, Webster was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana. Webster was arrested, then released on an appearance ticket to appear in the town of Collins Court.

¯ On Nov. 18 Lily A. Marsh, 22, of Perrysburg, was arrested on a warrant.

Marsh was stopped by patrol for a turn signal violation while operating a vehicle. During this traffic stop, a computer check revealed an active warrant for the arrest of Marsh issued by the town of Brant Court.

Marsh was arrested on this warrant and she was turned over to the town of Brant Police to process their warrant.
