Man injured in city stabbing

Dunkirk police are investigating a stabbing that occurred Saturday evening.

Officers responded to Lord Street near East Talcott Street for a report of a subject injured. Upon arrival, it was determined a male subject had been stabbed. The subject was transported to a hospital with apparent non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident occurred around 8:20 p.m. No other information was released by the department.

The Dunkirk Police Department requests that anyone with knowledge of this incident to please contact the Dunkirk Police Department at 366-2266.

City woman picked up on narcotics charges

An investigation into the sale and distribution of narcotics by the the Dunkirk Police Department and members of The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task has led to the arrest of a city woman.

At about 8:20 p.m. Friday, Natasha M. Feliciano of 515 Columbus St. was taken into custody on a grand jury indictment warrant by city police. She was found at a location on Lake Shore Drive West and arrested without incident. She was transported to the County jail pending arraignment on the charges.

Two injured in crash on Seneca Nation

The Erie County Sheriff’s Department is helping Seneca Nation marshals investigate a two-vehicle collision on Route 438 on nation territory. The incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. Friday.

The driver of one of the vehicles sustained upper and lower body injuries and was transported to Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo via ambulance, where he remains.

The operator of the second vehicle was transported Lake Shore Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No charges have been filed regarding the incident.
