¯ On Dec. 27, Sydney L. Doxtator, 28, of Irving, was arrested on a warrant.

In June of 2016, Doxtator was arrested by Gowanda Police for a seatbelt violation and for second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. When she failed to appear for a subsequent court hearing, a warrant for her arrest was issues by the Town of Persia Court.

Recently, Doxtator was a passenger in a vehicle stopped by the State Police for a traffic infraction. During this stop, a computer check revealed an active warrant for Doxtator’s arrest and she was turned over to the Gowanda Police. Doxtator was arrested on the warrant. She was then arraigned in the Town of Persia Court and she was released on her own recognizance to reappear in the Town of Persia Court on a later date.

¯ On Dec. 15, David A. Calkins, 36, of Wales, was arrested for operating with obstructed view, operating a vehicle with no insurance, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana and an outstanding warrant.

Calkins was stopped by patrol for operating a vehicle with an obstructed driver’s view. During this traffic stop, a DMV computer check revealed that Calkins license was suspended a total of 12 times from June of 2017 for his failure to answer summons or pay fines in numerous courts. This DMV computer check also revealed that Calkins license expired in May and the vehicle that he was operating had no insurance in effect. The computer check also revealed an active warrant for the arrest of Calkins issued the City of Buffalo Court. During this traffic stop, Calkins was found to be in possession of a small amount of concentrated cannabis, as well a Tupperware container containing a significant amount of marijuana.

Calkins was arrested and then released on an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Collins Court and he was then turned over to the Buffalo Police Department to process their warrant.
