¯ On Jan. 12, troopers out of Jamestown arrested James Trotter, 28, of Frewsburg, for driving while intoxicated.

The troopers responded to Riverside Road for a report of a personal injury rollover accident. Trotter was placed under arrest after failing several SFSTs and transported to SP Jamestown where he provided a breath sample of .14. Trotter was then processed, issued tickets and released, to appear in the town of Kiantone Court on a later date. Trotter’s passenger was treated at UPMC Hospital in Jamestown, NY, for injuries sustained in the accident; Trotter was uninjured.

¯ On Jan. 11, troopers out of Jamestown arrested Nathan Culver, 20, of Randolph, for foruth-degree criminal mischief.

The troopers responded to a residence in Randolph for a report of a domestic dispute. Investigation revealed that during an argument, Culver took the victim’s phone from her possession and intentionally stepped on it, causing damage. Culver was placed under arrest, processed at SP Jamestown, and issued an appearance ticket. Culver is scheduled to appear in the town of Randolph Court later in the month.

¯ SALAMANCA — On Jan. 15, Olean troopers arrested Aubrey E. Baize, 25, of Jamestown, for alleged seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

During a traffic stop on Wildwood Avenue, Baize was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. Baize was arrested and released with an appearance ticket for Salamanca City Court, where he is due to appear later this month.

¯ GOWANDA — On Jan. 14, Jessica L. Darlage, 31, of Olean was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation issued by Cattaraugus County Court. Darlage was transported to the Cattaraugus County Jail where she will await arraignment at a later date.

¯ LITTLE VALLEY — On Jan. 19, Kyle V. Brock, 56, of Salamanca was arrested for alleged aggravated driving while intoxicated BAC .18 or higher, DWI, failure to keep right and unsafe speed.

A vehicle was off the road and Brock was located a short distance from the scene. Investigation revealed the vehicle was traveling south when it crossed through the oncoming lane and exited the roadway. The drive also showed signs of intoxication and he was subsequently arrested.

¯LITTLE VALLEY — On Jan. 15, Rodney K. White, 57, of Hinsdale, was arrested on a warrant. Rodney was arrested, arraigned and released on a conditional discharge.

¯ SOUTH DAYTON — On Jan. 17, Laurie A. Newcomb, 42 was arrested on a warrant.

Newcomb was arrested for an alleged violation of probation warrant. Newcomb was taken to the Cattaraugus County Jail pending arraignment. Newcomb is due at Cattaraugus County Court for further proceedings.
