¯ PERSIA — On Feb. 2, Jessica L. Henhawk, of Salamanca was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated, first-degree unlicensed operation and failure to keep right after a traffic stop on Route 353. She was processed and released on tickets and is due back in court at a later date.

¯ KENNEDY — On Feb. 3, Nicholas A. Kelwaski, 27, of Poland was arrested for alleged fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment.

Kelwaski, was charged and arraigned on these charges through the CAP Arraignment program at the Chautauqua County Jail. These charges stem from an altercation that took place when Kelwaski physically harassed another individual and damaged property of that individual.

¯ FALCONER — On Friday, Jeffrey C. Ream, 54, was arrested for alleged speed in zone, driving while intoxicated .08% or more and DWI.

Deputies were responding to a possible leaving the scene of an accident. Deputies responded to the area of Gerry Levant Road and observed the possible suspect vehicle and stopped the vehicle for speeding. Ream was arrested and will appear in the town of Ellicott court on a later date.

¯ MINA — A Mayville man faces driving while intoxicated charges after a traffic stop Sunday.

Deputies performed the stop on Route 430 in the Town of Mina at about 5:09 p.m. Sunday for an observed traffic violation. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Brandon L Cessna, 39. Investigation allegedly found that Cessna had a revoked New York State driver’s license and was found to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated.

Cessna was arrested and charged with felony driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, speed over 55 miles per hour, and operating out of ignition interlock restrictions. He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail to be arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Program.

¯ On Jan. 31, Phillip M. Atkins, 40, of Brant was arrested for alleged third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, muffler exhaust system violation and operation of a motor vehicle by an unlicensed driver.

Patrol stopped the vehicle for a traffic violation. A subsequent NYSPIN check revealed the offender’s drivers license was suspended. The vehicle was turned over to a relative and the offender was transported to Evans Police Department. Atkins was then processed and released on appearance tickets.

¯ On Jan. 31, Matthew J. Gallagher-Igiel, 26 was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and ATV violation, unlawful operation on public highways. The offender was pulled over when found traveling on an ATV unlawfully on public highway. The offender was arrested and released on traffic tickets.

¯ On Feb. 2, Thomas L. Presley, 38 was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and no/inadequate lights.

Patrol stopped the vehicle and asked for the license and registration of the driver. The driver provided his name as he had no ID with him. Patrol ran his name in ENTPortal for a driving privilege and discovered it to be currently revoked/suspended a total of two times. The offender was arrested and transported for Evans for booking. Presley was issued an appearance ticket, two traffic tickets and was released.

¯ JAMESTOWN — On Feb. 5, Troopers out of Jamestown arrested Raymond Schmeltz, 44, of Kennedy, for Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol.

Schmeltz was pulled over on Route 62 in Kennedy for a traffic and after failing several sobriety tests, Schmeltz was placed under arrest. Schmeltz was transported to Jamestown barracks where he provided a breath sample of 0.07. Schmeltz was then processed, issued tickets and released. Schmeltz is scheduled to appear in the town of Poland Court on a later date.
