¯ HANOVER — On Feb. 10, Ronald L. Benzoic, 60 was arrested on a warrant for alleged forcible touching and third-degree criminal trespass charges.

At approximately 04:33 p.m. Sheriff’s deputies conducted a warrant check at a residence on Routes 5 & 20 in the town of Hanover. Benzoic was located at the residence. Benzoic had an active warrant for his arrest. Benzoic was taken into custody and transported to Chautauqua County Jail.

¯ WESTFIELD — On Tuesday, Charles M. Finn, 49, of North East, PA was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, speed over 55 mph and moving from lane unsafely.

At about 8:25 p.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 5 in the town of Westfield after observing multiple traffic violations. Investigation into the incident allegedly revealed that Finn was operating the vehicle while intoxicated.

Deputies arrested and charged Finn. He is scheduled to appear in the town of Westfield court at a later date.

≤ WESTFIELD — On Wednesday, John P. Houser, 30 was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and other charges, pending investigation.

At about 2 p.m. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office attempted to locate Houser, who was wanted by authorities out of Warren County, Pennsylvania. Deputies were able to locate him and take him into custody without incident.

Further investigation led to Houser allegedly being in possession of an illegal weapon.

Houser was arrested, charged and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail awaiting arraignment.

Further charges may be pending following a subsequent investigation with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

≤ JAMESTOWN — On Friday, Leonel A. Cabrera, 33 was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree unlawful fleeing of a police officer in a motor vehicle and second-degree obstructing governmental administration.

At approximately 2 p.m., deputies conducted a warrant check at a residence on Summit Avenue.

Cabrera was located at the residence. He had active warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and was transported to Chautauqua County Jail.
