¯ PORTLAND — On March 17, Henry T. Chapman, 47, of Erie, Pa., was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with a blood/alcohol content of 0.18% of greater, failure to keep right and speed in zone.

At about 1:40 a.m., sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle on West Main Street for multiple traffic violations. Chapman was allegedly found to be intoxicated and taken into custody. After processing, Chapman was released with traffic tickets. Chapman will appear in town of Portland Court at a later date to answer charges.

¯ GERRY — Girlie M. Contreraz, 29, of Randolph was charged with driving while intoxicated and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

At about 5 p.m. March 18, deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident in the town of Gerry. After an investigation Contreraz was arrested and charged. Contreraz was issued traffic tickets and will appear in the Town of Gerry Court on a later date.

¯ NORTH HARMONY — Amanda S. Evanock, 38, of Ashville was charged with speed over 55 mph, unregistered motor vehicle, no/improper turn signal, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se.

At around 8:25 p.m. Friday, Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on North Maple Avenue. Investigation found that Evanock was allegedly operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Evanock was arrested and charged. Evanock was released with appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in the town of North Harmony Court at a later date.
