WESTFIELD — On May 1, Peter M. Fielding, 55 was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, DWI, and no stopping, standing, parking on highway.

At about 4:50 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on North Portage Street in the town of Westfield for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Fielding. Subsequent investigation revealed Fielding was allegedly found to be driving while intoxicated after failing field sobriety tests. A chemical test reportedly showed Fielding had a blood alcohol content of more than .18%.

Fielding was charged and released to appear in the town of Westfield at a later date and time. Deputies were assisted by Westfield Police Department.

CARROLL — On Monday, Jason R. Zielinski, 43, of Frewsburg was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation (felony), operating without an interlock device, moving from lane unsafely, failure to keep right, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and failure to comply.

Deputies attempted to stop a vehicle on Main Street for multiple lane violations. The vehicle failed to comply and continued for over a mile before pulling into a driveway. Zielinski was allegedly found to be intoxicated and taken into custody.

A check of Jason Zielinski’s criminal history showed him to have a previous conviction for driving while intoxicated with in the past 10 years making this arrest a felony. He was also found to have had his driving privileges revoked in New York State for a prior DWI.

After refusing a breath test Zielinski was processed and released with traffic tickets. He will appear in Town of Carroll Court at a later date to answer charges.

Lakewood-Busti Police Department

Richard Smith, 26, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny Friday. Smith allegedly scanned items at a Walmart self-checkout with improper UPC codes, then left without paying the correct amount. Police issued Smith an appearance ticket for court.

Wilma Robillard, 63, of Hamburg was charged with petit larceny Saturday. Robillard allegedly failed to scan all the items in her cart at a Walmart self-checkout, then tried to leave with $143.14 worth of merchandise. She was stopped at the door and all items were recovered. Robillard was issued a court appearance ticket.
