Justin L. Horton, 36, of Stockton was arrested for alleged seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, criminally possessing hypodermic instrument, third-degree unlicensed operation, improper plates, no or inadequate lights, unlicensed operator, unregistered motor vehicle, and operating without insurance.

At around 1:12 a.m. May 9, deputies of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle in the town of Pomfret for multiple alleged traffic violations. Through investigation it was discovered that the operator was operating the vehicle with a suspended drivers license. Horton was also found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana, as well as a small quantity of methamphetamine. Horton was taken into custody and charged. Horton was then transported to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office for processing and released with tickets to appear in the Town of Pomfret Court at a later date.

WESTFIELD — On May 16, Rachel A. Blanchard, 37, of Mayville was arrested for alleged first-degree criminal contempt and second-degree burglary.

At about 9 p.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an address on Felton Road in the town for a report of an unwanted person. Upon arrival the suspect who was identified as Rachel A Blanchard had fled the scene. It is alleged that Blanchard did enter a residence unlawfully and did violate and order of protection. Deputies did locate and arrest Blanchard. Rachel was being held in the Chautauqua County Jail pending centralized arraignment.
