Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office

LITTLE VALLEY – On June 15, Benjamin Burroughs, 24, of South Dayton was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree criminal mischief, and second-degree menacing.

Burroughs was arraigned in the Cattaraugus County Court and sent to the Cattaraugus County Jail with no bail.

State Police at Jamestown

ASHVILLE–State Troopers based out of Jamestown arrested Ashville resident Scott McChesney, 30, on Thursday after responding to a report of a vehicle off the road. charged him with driving while ability impaired after finding methadone in a blood sample.

State police responded to a report of a vehicle off the road on Open Meadows Road where they found McChesney, who failed standard field sobriety tests. He was uninjured from driving off the road and issued tickets. He is scheduled to appear in the town of North Harmony Court at a later date.

Chautauqua County Sheriff

POMFRET–Kayla Pool, of Westfield, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, speeding in zone and insufficient tail lamps after deputies conducted a vehicle stop on Route 60 at 10:27 p.m. Thursday. Pool was released after processing and will appear in the Town of Pomfret Court at a later date.

WESTFIELD — Paul R. Dunnage, 37, was arrested and charged with improper plates, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Friday. Deputies stopped a vehicle in the 7-Eleven parking lot at 96 East Main Street after observed it being operated with switched or improper plates. Dunnage was found to have a suspended drivers license and a quantity of methamphetamine was located during a search of the vehicle subsequent to the arrest. Dunnage was released and is scheduled to appear in the Village of Westfield Court at a later date and time.
