Silver Creek and Sunset Bay units were called on for a pair of Saturday afternoon incidents. A boating mishap led to a broken leg injury for a man. According to the Sunset Bay Volunteer Fire Department, during that call another EMS request went out where the patient declined medical treatment. The man involved in the boating accident was transported to an area so a landing zone for a helicopter could take the patient to the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo. Other departments on the scene included the Irving Fire Department, Chautauqua County Emergency Medical Services, Silver Creek Volunteer Emergency Squad.
