WESTFIELD -- A Ripley resident has been charged in a burglary on June 22.
Michael S Smith, of 5666 Route 76, was charged and issued appearance ticket for fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and will be in Town of Westfield Court at a later date.
His arrest comes after a lengthy investigation into a burglary that occurred on Cemetery Road in Ripley. Deputies said several items were located at Smith's residence which were reported stolen from the Cemetery Road Burglary.
