¯ On July 10, Eric M. Burlingame, 50, of Brocton was charged Friday with driving while ability impaired by drugs, speeding, operating with no insurance, operating with no registration, and improper plates.

Deputies observed a vehicle committing a traffic infraction in the town of Dunkirk. Upon further investigation, deputies allege that the operator was operating the vehicle while impaired by drugs.

Burlingame was taken into custody and charged. He was later released with traffic tickets. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office K9 and Sheriff’s drug recognition expert assisted in the arrest.

¯ NORTH HARMONY — On Saturday, Anthony R. Ciccone, 27, of Niagara Falls was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .08% or greater and failure to keep right.

At about 2:30 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 394 in the Town of North Harmony for a lane violation. Investigation allegedly found Ciccone to be intoxicated and he was taken into custody.

After processing, Ciccone was released with traffic tickets. He will appear in Town of North Harmony Court at a later date to answer his charges.

¯ ELLICOTT — On Saturday, Kaleb S. Mason, 32, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .08% or greater, and moving from lane unsafely.

At about 11:30 p.m., Sheriff’s Deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 60 in the Town of Ellicott for a lane violation. The operator was identified and investigation allegedly found him to be intoxicated.

Mason was taken into custody and after processing was released with traffic tickets. He will appear in Town of Ellicott Court at a later date to answer his charges.
