CLYMER – On July 23, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Corey Weigle, 25, of Erie, Penn., for driving while ability impaired by drugs, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of controlled substances by ultimate users original container and Shane Taubert, 25, of Corry, Penn., for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
The Troopers pulled Weigle over for committing traffic violations on Route 426 in Clymer and he was placed under arrest after failing several SFSTs. Weigle was also found to be in possession of oxycodone pills and a grinder containing oxycodone residue and passenger Taubert was found to be in possession of a bag containing methamphetamine. Weigle and Taubert were transported to SP Jamestown whereTaubert was processed and released with an appearance ticket. Weigle was evaluated by a New York State Police Drug Recognition Expert and determined to be under the influence of a Central Nervous System stimulant. A blood sample was secured from Weigle at UPMC Hospital in Jamestown, after which he was transported back to SP Jamestown and processed. Weigle was released with traffic and appearance tickets and both he and Taubert are scheduled to appear in the town of French Creek Court on a later date.

WESTFIELD — On July 27, Matthew J. Houle, 28 was arrested for alleged seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument, and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.
At about 4:30 p.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and Westfield Police Department responded to a location in Westfield for an investigation. The investigation revealed that Houle was allegedly in possession of a small quantity of methamphetamine, a hypodermic instrument, and drug paraphernalia. Houle was arrested and released with appearance tickets and is to be arraigned by the Town of Westfield Court at a later date.
FRENCH CREEK — On July 26, Lashana L. Henderson, 28, of Huntsville, Ala. was arrested for alleged third-degree criminal mischief.
At about 10:40 p.m., deputies responded to an address on Canterbury Dr. in the Town of French Creek for an altercation between two females. Upon arrival it was found that Lashana L. Henderson, 28, of Huntsville Alabama did damage a vehicle that belonged to another person. Lashana was arrested and charged. Lashana was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of French Creek Court on a later date.
