Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department

WESTFIELD — Rachel A Blanchard, 38, of Mayville was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Edward A Wood, 50, of Westfield, was charged with second-degree robbery, second-degree strangulation and third-degree assault. Deputies responded at 6:41 p.m. on Saturday to Felton Road in the town of Westfield for a report of an unwanted person. Blanchard was allegedly found to be in violation of a stay away order. She was taken to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment. Wood was taken into custody following an investigation and taken to jail for arraignment. Deputies were assisted by the Westfield Police Department.

CLYMER — Zane Tucker, 25, of Clymer was charged with inadequate headlight, unsafe tires, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 12:35 a.m. Monday on Route 474 in the town of Clymer for inadequate headlights. An investigation determined that Tucker was operating the vehicle in an intoxicated state. He is scheduled to appear in French Creek Town Court later.

ELLERY — Kyle S. Carson, 34, of Sinclairville, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic instrument. Deputies were notified 7:30 a.m. on Monday of a person sleeping in their vehicle on the side Route 430 in the town of Ellery. Carson was charged following an investigation. He is scheduled to appear in Ellery Town Court later.

New York State Police

BEMUS POINT — Jason Bang, 31, of Bemus Point was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. During a traffic stop Monday on Route 430 in Bemus Point, Bang was allegedly found in possession of crystal methamphetamine. He was processed and issued tickets to appear in Ellery Town Court later.

CONEWANGO VALLEY — James Haley, 41, of Conewango Valley was charged with second-degree harassment. Troopers responded Friday to Route 62 in Conewango Valley for a report of a disturbance. An investigation found that Haley allegedly approached another person with a sharp item and threatened him with violence. Haley is scheduled to appear in Ellington Town Court later.

Jamestown Police Department

Police charged a city resident with violating Leandra’s Law and endangering the welfare of a child following a traffic stop on Friday afternoon. Police also charged Craig H. Wilson, 42, with driving with abilities impaired by drugs, aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child in the vehicle, driving with no seat belt, operating a vehicle with no insurance, standing on the highway and throwing refuse on the highway after multiple observed traffic infractions in the area of Hazeltine Avenue and Sampson Street around 4:57 p.m. A 14-year-old child was found to be in the vehicle. After receiving his charges, police released Wilson on an appearance ticket.

A city man received a third-degree criminal mischief charge after police responded to a domestric dispute at an East Fifth Street residence. Police took Chase Pellerino, 18, into custody after finding that he had damaged property in the residence on Saturday around 7 p.m. Police transported Pellerino to the Jamestown City Jail where he awaits arraignment on his charge.

Dunkirk Police Department

On July 27, Sean P. Korzenski, 27, of Sheridan was charged with second-degree harassment.

On July 30, Samantha Stokes, 27, of Dunkirk was charged with second-degree harassment.

On July 31, Larry L. Casey III, 30, of Dunkirk was charged with second-degree burglary and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
