Jamestown man charged with DWI after speeding
KIANTONE — A Jamestown man was charged with driving while intoxicated after being stopped after going 54 in a 35 mph zone on Manchester Road around 2:30 p.m. Friday.
An investigation by Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies led to Jeffrey D Bohall, 35, of 117 Elam Ave., to being charged with driving while intoxicated. Bohall’s driving history showed that he had two previous convictions for diving while intoxicated making this arrest a felony.
Bohall was also charged with consuming an alcoholic beverage while operating a motor vehicle. A condition placed on Bohall’s drivers license was that he not operate a motor vehicle without a alcohol interlock device installed. The vehicle he was operating did not have the device installed.
Bohall also had a blood alcohol content of 0.26 % making this arrest aggravated driving while intoxicated. Bohall was release to a sober party and will be back in the town of Kiantone Court at a later date.
