Baby’s death being probed by state police
The death of an infant earlier this month is being investigated by New York State Police.
On Oct. 10, a baby was transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead. Two sources told the OBSERVER the incident led to New York State Police being at the facility once the child had been brought to the emergency room.
State police confirmed the investigation but would not comment further. County Child Protective Services also is believed to be involved in the case.
