¯ KENNEDY — Shannon DeJesus, 34, of Jamestown, was charged with fourth-degreedwire criminal possession of stolen property and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. DeJesus was reportedly stopped Saturday on Route 394 in Kennedy for a traffic violation. An investigation found that the license plate on the vehicle DeJesus was driving came back to a different vehicle stolen out of Florida, which was later found at DeJesus’ residence. A check found that DeJesus’ license was suspended nine times. DeJesus was issued tickets to appear in Poland Town Court later.

¯ ASHVILLE — Kevin Cole, 56, of Sherman, was charged with felony driving while intoxicated and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Troopers received a reported of a person slumped over the steering while of his vehicle Saturday on Cheney Road in Ashville. While responding, witnesses reported seeing the vehicle driving erratically on several roads in Ashville, Stow and Sherman. The vehicle pulled into a driveway on Franklin Street in Sherman. An investigation found that Cole was intoxicated. He was transported to police barracks where he reportedly refused to provide a breath sample. A check also showed that he had two previous DWI convictions in the last 10 years, upgrading the charge to a felony. Cole was processed and transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
