¯ SILVER CREEK — Michael A. Acosta-Padilla, 21, of Buffalo, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree criminal possession of marijuana.
Deputies stopped a vehicle at 11:46 p.m. Monday in the village of Silver Creek for a traffic violation. Marijuana along with a semi-automatic pistol, two magazines for that pistol, and several rounds of ammunition were located inside the vehicle.
An investigation found that Acosta-Padilla was allegedly in possession of the firearm, ammunition and marijuana.
He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
