Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office

¯ Calvin A. Stallworth, 28, of Dunkirk, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or greater, moving from lane unsafely, failure to keep right and refusal of roadside breath test. Deputies at 10:26 p.m. on Monday observed a vehicle on Route 60 in the town of Pomfret lose control and leave the road. Stallworth was found to be intoxicated following an investigation and was taken into custody. He is scheduled to appear in Pomfret Town Court later.

¯ PORTLAND — A physical altercation on Fay Street led to a number of charges against a town resident.

Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies reported that upon their arrival at about 8:56 p.m. Sunday, they learned that Steven A. Scott, 54, of Fay Street allegedly damaged multiple items and pushed another individual to the ground. This incident occurred with a child under 17 years old in the residence.

A further investigation revealed that Scott did violate an order of protection during the incident. Scott was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment.

Scott was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

New York State Police

¯ A Gerry woman is facing numerous drug charges after being stopped for a traffic violation on Federal Place in Jamestown on Sunday.

State Police in Jamestown charged Amanda Sendall, 34, with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.

While speaking to Sendall, the Troopers observed multiple items of drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle in plain view. A search of Sendall and the vehicle revealed the following items: a bag containing methamphetamine, eight bags containing heroin and several needles and items commonly used for the use and sale of narcotics. Sendall was placed under arrest, transported to Jamestown barracks and processed. Sendall was then transported to the Chautauqua County Jail.

¯ On Jan. 7 Daniel Vargas, 45, of Brocton was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle driver’s view obstructed, unlicensed operator and operating while registration suspended.

¯ On Jan. 7, Christina A. Marrero, 31, of Dunkirk was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, inadequate muffler, unlicensed operator of a motor vehicle, improper plates, unregistered motor vehicle and operating without insurance.

¯ On Jan. 7, Edison Velez-Alicea, 23, of Dunkirk was charged with operating with suspended registration, operating without insurance and insufficient turn signal.

¯ On Jan. 8, Jose A Mendez, 41, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failure to signal 100 feet, uninspected motor vehicle and inadequate muffler.

¯ On Jan. 9, Diane Done, 51, of Dunkirk was charged with operating while registration suspended or revoked.

¯ On Jan. 10, Galisto Rojas, 31, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, insufficient turn signal, back seat passenger under 4 with no restraint and back seat passenger 4-7 with no restraint.

¯ On Jan. 11, Ivan Negron-Rivera, 53, of Dunkirk was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, DWI, turning without a signal, no seatbelt and operation without insurance.

¯ On Jan. 11, David B. Anzalone, 37, of Dunkirk was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, insufficient signal less than 100 feet and failure to stop at a stop sign.

¯ On Jan. 11, Kelly M. Cambria, 42, of Fredonia was charged with third-degree menacing and second-degree harassment.

¯ On Jan. 12, Daniel H. Hornburg, 64, of Stockton was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unregistered motor vehicle, improper plates, uninspected motor vehicle and operating without insurance.

¯ On Jan. 13, Daniel M. Hempeck Jr., 32, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failure to dim headlights, operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, operating without insurance.

¯ On Dec. 28, Dylan Sugden, 25, of Fredonia was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

¯ On Dec. 29, Jenna Matney, 39, of Dunkirk was charged with petit larceny.

¯ On Dec. 31, Messiak Gonzalez, 33, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree burglary and petit larceny.

¯ On Jan. 3, Rolando Colon, 37, of Dunkirk was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
