Chautauqua County Sheriff

MINA — A Findley Lake man is facing charges after a sex-offense complaint.

At approximately 5:03 p.m. Friday, Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies responded to an address on Route 426 in the town. After an investigation, it was found that Barry R. Haertel, 70, did allegedly forcibly touch another individual in a sexual manner.

Haertel was charged and taken to county jail for arraignment. Haertel will answer his charge in Town of Mina Court on a later date.

Dunkirk Police Department

¯ On Jan. 15, Larimey A. Gilbert, 34, of Stockton was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, passing on red signal, driver’s view obstructed and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.

¯ On Jan. 16, Messiah M. Gonzalez, 33, of Dunkirk was charged with petit larceny.

¯ On Jan. 18, Angelytte Berreto, 26, of Dunkirk was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop at a stop sign and no interlock device.

¯ On Jan. 18, Jamel S. Hall, 20, of Dunkirk was charged with second-degree assault and third-degree criminal mischief.

¯ On Jan. 20, Samantha Coleman, 32, of Fredonia was charged with second-degree criminal trespass.
