¯ HANOVER — Rose M. Dawson, 22, of Warren, Pa., was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Deputies responded at 3:04 p.m. Tuesday to Routes 5 and 20 in the town of Hanover for a reported altercation. An investigation into that altercation found that Dawson allegedly destroyed property. She was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
¯ SHERMAN — Thomas A. Nellis, 60, of Sherman, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal trespass. Deputies received a report Monday of a person unlawfully inside a Main Street residence in Sherman. An investigation found that Nellis allegedly entered the home. Deputies additionally located a quantity of methamphetamine on Nellis during the incident. He is scheduled to appear in Sherman Town Court later.
¯ HANOVER — Gregory T. Chase II, 39, of Muskeegan, Michigan, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Deputies observed a vehicle at 2:59 a.m. Tuesday traveling at a high rate of speed. Chase was later found in possession of a number of prescription amphetamines. He is scheduled to appear in Hanover Town Court later.
