CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ CHAUTAUQUA — Joseph A. Blachowski, 61, of Mayville was charged with petit larceny. Deputies responded at 9 p.m. Tuesday to West Lake Road in the town of Chautauqua for a report of a disorderly person refusing to leave a restaurant. Blachowski was released with a ticket to appear in court later.

¯ CELORON — Philip L. Reichardt, 45, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator and inadequate tail lamps. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 11:41 p.m. Thursday for an alleged violation on Boulevard Avenue in the village of Celoron. The driver was allegedly observed attempting to conceal contraband as deputies approached. Deputies also observed drug paraphernalia in plain view inside the vehicle. Reichardt was later found to have a suspended license and in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Town Court later. ¯ GERRY — Michael Hale, 41, of Salamanca, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally using hypodermic instrument, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator and failure to signal turn. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 12:33 a.m. March 12 on Gerry Ellington Road in the town of Gerry for a violation. An investigation found that Hale was allegedly found in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine and used hypodermic syringes with narcotic residue. Hale was also found to be operating with suspended driving privileges. He is scheduled to appear in Gerry Town Court later.
