¯ On March 11, Tina L. Ruiz, 21, of Dunkirk was charged with having a dangerous dog.

¯ On March 12, Jared G. Leroy, 40, of Dunkirk was charged with failure to register as a sex offender.

¯ On March 14, Linda E. Pearson, 42, of Dunkirk was charged with second-degree harassment.

¯ On March 15, Dominique A. White, 24, of Gowanda was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and inadequate plate lamps.

¯ On March 17, Ken Figueroa-Acevedo, 29, of Dunkirk was charged with unlawfully fleeing a police officer, speed in zone, unregistered motorcycle, unlicensed operator of a motor vehicle, no plate, no side mirror, passing on a red light and unsafe passing.

¯ SHERMAN — Allan C. Detweiler, 39, of Sherman, was taken into custody Sunday on a outstanding arrest warrant for criminal obstruction of breathing which had been issued in Sherman Town Court. The charges stemmed from an altercation in which Allan applied pressure to the neck of another for an extended period of time. While taking Allan into custody he would found to be in possession of quantity of methamphetamine. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail and held for centralized arraignment.

¯ POMFRET — Stephen M. Mogavero, 47, of Silver Creek, was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right and moving from lane unsafely. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 1:46 a.m. Sunday on Lakeview Road in the town of Pomfret for multiple lane violations. An investigation found that Mogavero was intoxicated. He refused a breath test and was released after processing.

¯ HANOVER — Eugene D. Redeye, 37, of Gowanda, was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 4:38 p.m. Sunday on Routes 5 and 20 in the town of Hanover for a traffic violation. Redeye, a passenger, was allegedly found in possession of a quantity of cocaine, concentrated cannabis, and marijuana. Redeye is scheduled to appear in Hanover Town Court later.

¯ POLAND — Christian T. Powell, 24, of Buffalo, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and resisting arrest. Deputies responded to a Stone Road home in the town of Poland at 9:51 p.m. Sunday for an order of protection violation. Deputies located Powell at the scene and an investigation determined he was violating the order. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail and held for centralized arraignment.
