CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ CHAUTAUQUA — James R. Tuttle, 32, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Natashia L. Tuttle, 32, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree harassment. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 11:43 p.m. Wednesday on South Erie Street in the town of Chautauqua. The drive was known to have an active arrest warrant. Natashia Tuttle was taken into custody on the warrant. James Tuttle, a passenger, was found to have a stay away order of protection, directing him to stay away from Natashia. James Tuttle was processed and turned over to Chautauqua County Jail. Natashia Tuttle was turned over to the Jamestown Police Department on the arrest warrant.

¯ ELLICOTT — Derek J. Rolfe, 26, of Bemus Point, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, driving on shoulder of controlled-access highway and moving from lane unsafely. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 5:30 a.m. March 28 on Interstate 86 in the town of Ellicott. An investigation found that Rolfe was intoxicated while operating the vehicle. Rolfe was processed and released, and is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Elijah R. Keefe, 20, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Officers at 3:42 p.m. on Wednesday observed Keefe in the area of Barrett and McKinley avenues. Officers were aware that Keefe had an active warrant, and he was taken into custody. Keefe was also found to be with a woman who had a valid order of protection. Keefe was being held in Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.

¯ Luis A. Irizarry, 34, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree criminal possession, second-degree assault and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers at 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday observed a disorderly person on North Main Street. It was learned that Irizarry allegedly attempted to assault another person with a knife. He was taken into custody and held for arraignment.
