CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ BROCTON — David L. McLaughln Jr., 52, of Brocton, was charged with petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Deputies responded at midnight Thursday to Brocton for a reported altercation. McLaughlin was taken into custody following an investigation. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ ARKWRIGHT — Stacey M. Grundhoefer, 49, of Arkwright, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child. Deputies were called at 12:03 a.m. Friday to a reported altercation in the town of Arkwright. Grundhoefer was taken into custody following an investigation and was transported to jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ HANOVER — James Rosati, 64, of Hanover, was charged with third-degree menacing and second-degree harassment. Deputies were called at 11:24 p.m. Wednesday to Hanover for a reported assault. Rosati was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for an evaluation. Rosati was later taken to the jail for arraignment and released.

¯ POLAND — Christian T. Powell, 25, of Jamestown, was taken into custody on an arrest warrant for second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal contempt, third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree harassment. Deputies and Carroll police officers were called at 4:05 p.m. Thursday to Stone Road in the town of Poland for a report of a wanted person. Powell was located inside the residence. He was transported to jail for arraignment and is scheduled to appear in Poland Town Court later.
