¯ FREDONIA — Frank Strohauer, 21, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Strohauer and another individual were pulled over Saturday on Route 60 in Fredonia for a traffic violation. An investigation found that both vehicles were traveling together and that the other driver was the protected party in a stay-away order of protection against Strohauer. Strohauer is scheduled to appear in Pomfret Town Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ DUNKIRK — Hope D. Milliman, 25, of Brocton, was charged with driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 1:31 a.m. Nov. 25 in the town of Dunkirk for a traffic violation. An investigation found that Milliman was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Milliman was processed and released with tickets to appear in Dunkirk Town Court later.

¯ WESTFIELD — Edward Wood, 51, of Westfield, was taken into custody at noon Thursday at a Felton Road residence in Westfield on numerous warrant from a previous incident. Wood was located inside the residence and taken into custody without incident. He is facing charges of second-degree strangulation, obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, criminal mischief with intent to damage property, second-degree menacing and second-degree assault.

¯ SINCLAIRVILLE — Austin T. Schwab, 26, of Sinclairville, was taken into custody at 11:35 a.m. Thursday following a warrant check in Sinclairville. Schwab was wanted on charges of second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
