JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Cynthia M. Scholeno, no age listed, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, fourth-degree criminal mischief and resisting arrest. Scholeno was located at 12:15 a.m. Monday in a parking lot in the area of South Main and Harrison streets. Scholeno was wanted on warrants by Lakewood-Busti police and the Sheriff’s Office. Scholeno allegedly refused to exit her vehicle and intentionally backed into a police vehicle. Scholeno resisted arrest before being taken into custody. She was processed and turned over to the other agencies for the outstanding warrants.

¯ Benjamin L. Howard, 22, no address listed, was charged with third-degree assault. Officers responded at 11:41 a.m. Sunday to the west side of the city for a reported physical dispute. A person allegedly sustained a bloody nose from being punched in the face by Howard, who was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail. He was held for arraignment.

¯ Abubaker H. Osman, 44, of Buffalo, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, failure to signal and failure to keep right. Desiray J. Corrigan, 38, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers stopped a vehicle at 5:18 p.m. Saturday in the area of Allen and Scioto streets for several traffic infractions. Corrigan was later found to have several bench warrants out of Jamestown City Court. Corrigan was taken into custody without incident. Osman was allegedly found with a loaded handgun. Both were transported to Jamestown City Jail where Corrigan was later found with a quantity of fentanyl.
