BOSTON — Troopers charged Deanna S. Armstrong, 53, of Gowanda with driving while intoxicated, second-degree harassment, moving from lane unsafely and changing lanes when hazard after an accident on state Route 219.

Troopers report a domestic between Armstrong and her passenger occurred Jan. 9 and led to the vehicle going off the road and striking a tree. Armstrong was taken to Bertrand Chaffee Hospital for medical attention due to facial injuries.

Later, it was determined Armstrong was under the influence of alcohol and she consented to a blood draw to determine her blood alcohol content. Armstrong was advised that she would have to be processed at Boston barracks later and given her paperwork.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF

— BROCTON — Deputies of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office received a report Friday of an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the village. Once officers arrived on scene it was found that the vehicle in question had been taken while the owner was sleeping.

Deputies observed the vehicle being operated on Lake Avenue. Deputies conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as 40-year-old Edward Tirado Jr. of Brocton. He was charged with third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

— PORTLAND — At about 4:42 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to an address on Ellicott Road in the for an alleged order of protection violation. On arrival it was found Joshua J. Dash, 42, of Portland was found to be in the presence of three individuals who had valid stay away order of protections against him.

Dash was charged with three counts of second-degree criminal contempt and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
