¯ FREDONIA — Joseph Corsaro, 37, of Silver Creek, was charged with felony driving while ability impaired by drugs. Troopers stopped Corsaro on March 2 on McAllister Road in Fredonia for a traffic violation. He was taken into custody after allegedly failing several field sobriety tests and later evaluated by a drug recognition expert. Corsaro provided a blood sample at Brooks Memorial Hospital and released with a ticket to appear in Pomfret Town Court later.

¯ FREDONIA — David George, 62, of Fredonia, was charged with driving while intoxicated. Trooper stopped George on Monday for failing to stop at a stop sign at Prospect Street and Route 20 in Fredonia. George later provided a breath sample of 0.11%. He is scheduled to appear in court later.

¯ STOW — Shamir Nagle, 19, of Erie, Pa., was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs. Troopers stopped Nagle on Tuesday for speeding on Interstate 86 in Stow. Nagle was allegedly found to be under the influence of cannabis and is scheduled to appear in North Harmony Town Court later.

¯ Ryan Miller, 37, of Liverpool, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unlicensed operation stemming from an incident that occurred on the morning of Feb. 13. At 9:17 that morning, patrol stopped Miller for an unspecified reason. During the stop, a DMV computer check revealed that Miller’s license was suspended on June 23, 2017, for failing to answer five traffic summonses in the City of Niagara Falls Court. The computer check also revealed Miller’s license expired on April 20. Miller was arrested on both charges and was released on an appearance ticket to appear in the town of Persia Court.

¯ Bransin John, a 22-year-old man from Irving, was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct, harassment, and resisting arrest on the evening of Feb. 20. At 7:46 p.m. that day, patrol, joined by the Erie County Sheriff Department, responded to reports of a subject walking on the road, yelling and threatening to fight with the residents of the neighborhood. Patrol encountered John, who appeared highly intoxicated, became physically aggressive toward patrol and attempted to fight the other officers. John, who was also resisting arrest, was subdued and arrested on all charges and was released on an appearance ticket to appear in town of Collins Court.
