CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ PANAMA — Robert A. Carlson, 37, of Jamestown, was charged with two counts of second-degree aggravated harassment. Deputies responded at 7:39 p.m. on Monday to a Wesleyan Street home in Panama for a report of a disorderly person. An investigation found that Carlson allegedly threatened harm to multiple people at the residence. Carlson was found a short time later and taken into custody He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ DUNKIRK — Franklin C. Campbell, 43, of Baileyville, Maine, was charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right. Deputies responded at 2:21 a.m. on March 24 to Temple Road in the town of Dunkirk for a reported suspicious situation. A pickup truck was located and found to have struck a tree. Campbell was identified as the driver, and an investigation determined he was driving while intoxicated. He is scheduled to appear in Dunkirk Town Court later.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ GERRY — Sheila Truver, 24, of Falconer, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated. Troopers stopped Truver on Friday for failing to stop at a stop sign at the four corners in Gerry. Truver was taken into custody after allegedly failing several field sobriety tests. Truver later provided a breath sample of 0.20%. Truver is scheduled to appear in Gerry Town Court later.

¯ BROCTON — Terrence Bloom, 39, of Sherman, was charged with driving while intoxicated. Troopers responded Saturday to Brocton for a vehicle complaint on Lake Avenue. Bloom was found in the vehicle in the driveway of a Fay Street home. Bloom later provided a breath sample of 0.14% and is scheduled to appear in Portland Town Court later.

¯ BEMUS POINT — Jacob McMaster, 28, of Bemus Point, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated. Troopers responded Saturday to Bemus Point for a reported crash. An investigation found that while pulling into a gas station, McMaster allegedly struck a parked vehicle causing damage but no injuries. McMaster later provided a breath sample of 0.39%. He is scheduled to appear in Ellery Town Court later.

¯ GOWANDA — Omar Abdi, 33 of Buffalo, was charged with a license plate violation and driving while impaired by drugs on March 8. At 9:30 a.m.,, Abdi was stopped by patrol on Buffalo Street for operating a vehicle with a license plate violation. During the stop, Abdi showed signs of impairment. Abdi failed several sobriety checks, and after alcohol consumption was disproved, a drug recognition expert from the Erie County Sheriff Department responded to evaluate Abdi. Following the evaluation, Abdi was released on an appearance ticket in the town of Collins Court.

¯ GOWANDA — Jacob Jones, 33 of Gowanda, was charged with license plate violation, operating a vehicle with no insurance, and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation on March 11. At nearly 7 p.m., Jones was stopped by patrol for operating a vehicle with a license plate violation. During the stop, a computer check showed that Jones’ license was revoked on Dec. 15 for operating without insurance. The check also showed that Jones currently had no insurance. Jones was released on an appearance ticket to be in the town of Collins Court.

¯ GOWANDA — Daniel Miller, 52 of Gowanda, was charged with second-degree harassment and second-degree criminal contempt. At 9:30 a.m. March 12, patrol received a complaint that Miller was harassing a female acquaintance via text, violating a court order of protection. Miller was released on an appearance ticket and will be in town of Persia Court.
