CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ On Monday at about 10 p.m. deputies from the Sheriff’s Office and troopers with the state police responded to an address on Berry Road in the town of Pomfret for a report of a disorderly person.

After an investigation it was discovered that the subject involved, 25 year old Cody R. Rodman of Pomfret had allegedly gotten into a physical altercation with two other individuals that were at the residence. Rodman was placed in custody and transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital for an evaluation. He was released a short time later and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.

Rodman was charged with second-degree strangulation, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, and second-degree aggravated harassment. He will return to the Town of Pomfret Court to answer the charges at a later date.
